Support website - sneak peek

This is what we've been working on, the last few days - the support website! A preview version can be seen below. Just a note: the upload function isn't working yet because we are still looking for a good solution in terms of grabbing and having enough space for what we hope will be several gigs of space!

So here are some screenshots, and remember: Constructive critics are REALLY welcome!

Very nice idea, it'll be an effective way to keep track of everything related to the project in a non-blog fashion.

However, about the design, I'd lose the 3D navigation buttons. I like their blue feedback, but I would try to make their text in plain 2D words. It improves readability and doesn't cause that much confusion with the header.

But that's just my two cents :)

Thanks ricardo.

About the 3D navigation buttons: yes, they would have better readability if it was just plain text, but I think it gives some personality to the website (and since the letters are big, they're still readable).

Still, I'll gather some more opinions and if they have the same opinion as you, i'll probably change that.

Thanks for the feedback!

First, in what concerns colour pallets, I think you did good, and keeping the consistency with your blog is very important to convey a strong identity to the project. :)

I think the icon/image that you choose to identify the upload/contribute function is a little heavy (to many elements) and maybe I would loose the golden aura behind de glass.

And finally, you look like "a menino do coro" in the contacts picture :P

Thanks for answering Cat ;)

About the icon, i also think it still has to be worked on, i just used a few elements i had previously vectorized. I also find that it doesn't attract as much attention as it should (but since the upload function isn't working atm, it's not a problem).

But yes, i need to look at that icon again indeed. And about the picture, i look like a choir boy (to tell you the truth, i was one in my early years - so it's not a problem :P)

Thanks again for the feedback!
